We believe the next generation of manufacturing ERP should not wait for people to do all the thinking, interpretation and data entry. It should work alongside them—understanding context, preparing decisions and helping move the job forward from RFQ through shipment.
Why MercerERP
The opportunity is bigger than putting a better interface on traditional ERP.
Traditional ERP was built to record what happened: the quote, purchase order, operation, inspection result, shipment and invoice. That record matters. But much of the work required to understand what should happen next still falls on people.
Modern intelligence changes what the system can be. MercerERP is built around the idea that ERP can become an assistant across the operation: help understand incoming work, prepare estimates, identify what needs to be sourced, carry requirements into production, surface quality and delivery work and learn from actual cost after the job is complete.
The goal is not autonomous manufacturing. It is better leverage for the people who know the shop. The system should take on more of the preparation, coordination and recall so experienced people can spend more time applying judgment.
That is the shift we think can fundamentally change ERP: from a repository people work around to an active partner that helps them do the work.

MercerERP's founding team combines experience in enterprise cloud, data and intelligent systems with backgrounds in advanced manufacturing, including Tesla, Rivian and Archer.
We have seen what modern software can do when it is designed around the work, and we have seen how much manufacturing still depends on disconnected systems, spreadsheets and knowledge carried in people's heads.
That combination is why we are not simply adding intelligence to a traditional ERP. We are building MercerERP around it from the beginning, with manufacturers helping shape how the product should work in the real world.
